Doc's Obituary:

CAPRIO Caspio Caprio Pharmacist and owner of several pharmacies Active in Clifton, 92 Caspio Caprio, 92, died on March 1, 2007, in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. A brief service was held in Miramar, Fla., on March 3. Mr. Caprio was born on Sept. 16, 1914, in Newark, and raised on Parker Street. He relocated to Florida in the early 1990s. He attended Barringer High School, N.Y.U. and Rutgers College of Pharmacy. A registered pharmacist for 50 years, he owned and operated C & R Drugs in Clifton, as well as pharmacies in Edison, New Milford, Springfield and Hillsborough. Mr. Caprio was very active in Cliftons civic affairs as a trustee on the board of education and library board. He is survived by his wife, Carole, of Florida; two sons, Ralph and Robert of Clifton; a daughter, Carole Sue Lemmon of Florida; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Donations may be made in his name to the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at the State University of Rutgers, Piscataway, N.J.
